Joining the Nedbank Running Club Central Gauteng, Johannesburg

The Nedbank Running Club Central Gauteng, Johannesburg is an ideal club for the more social runner. It has a relaxed and friendly character, and while faster runners are welcome, the bulk of our members are social runners with serious goals.

Any South African runner intending to run road races is advised to join a running club and this is particularly the case when it comes to running marathons and ultra-marathons.

Our club is the proud owner of a trailer which we set up at the major races in Central Gauteng. Please join us at the club gazebo after your race and meet your fellow Nedbank runners.

The club hosts several social events. These include prize-giving functions, Comrades pasta parties and Comrades talks.

Both novice and experienced runners alike have the opportunity to gain training advice and written training programmes.

The club is one of the most affordable and the joining fee includes the cost of a license number. Membership to the club gives runners access to the other Nedbank Clubs in South Africa and the trendy green club colours are a feature of races all over South Africa.
