We have had an exciting first 4 months so far for 2017. Our Elite Athletes are performing well leading up to Two Oceans and Comrades Marathons and we are 4 Days away form Two Oceans Marathon. Good luck to each and every Athlete that will be participating and we will be at the finish line waiting for your at our Marquee.

TWO OCEANS MARATHON

Please collect your Two Oceans Shirts at EXPO at the Future Life stand alternatively it will be available at our Marquee. You will receive your lanyard with food and drink vouchers at the finish line after your race to come and enjoy a SPUR Burger and drinks. We will also have a Biogen table, FutureLife Smoothies and massages on hand to relax your tired muscles. The Marquee will be situated on the finish stretch before the bridge. If you did not receive your vouchers at the finish line, I will be there to assist in giving you a voucher.

Our Two Oceans party went off well and thank you to Charne Bosman for giving some tips to our athletes for your race.

WINGS FOR LIFE WORLD RUN

Thanks to everyone who committed to work at the race on Sunday 7 May 2017, I will be in contact regarding all details for the event.

COMRADES MARATHON

Please send Adriaan your order for your shirts with proof of payment so that we can have your shirts delivered.

Our Comrades Party will take place on Thursday 04 May 2017 after Time Trials. Invite to follow after Two Oceans Marathon.

Always wear your 2017 license number on the front and back of your Nedbank Running Club vest, you will be disqualified if you do not wear both.

FUTURE RACES

Our club gazibo will only be at League Races and big upcoming races

Monday 02 May – MiWay Wally Hayward Marathon at High School Zwartkop (Online entries close 24 April)

Saturday 21 May – Jackie Mekler Race at Pretoria Miltary Sports Club

COMPETITION TIME

Please post your SELFIE when you are on your training run, at Time Trials or at a race and post it on our Face Book Page. Great prizes can be won at our Comrades Party ie Future Life and Biogen Gift Packs, Nedbank Running Club TShirt

Planning of a SPRING Family Race will start shortly, we are waiting for confirmation that we are able to use the CBC Grounds to host a race for all ages, have food stalls and fun things for your kids. We want to raise funds for the local Children Home as well as meet your family. If you want to assist, email us and let us know if you want to be part of the Spring Race planning committee.

Remember to donate your old running shoes, clothing and branded running clothing to our Development Team as they desparately need clothing and shoes to assist these youngster that Enoch Skosana train and develop into passionate athletes.
