This passing weekend our runners took part in the SA Cross Country Championships in George Western Cape. There was a really strong line up in all events and the competition was tough. The 12 km race for Senior Men consistent of our Nedbank Runners where they managed a second position finish in the podium as a Team. Sibusiso Nzima led that team as he finished 7th and the only CGA runner in the top 10. The notable performance from our club was Simon Mpholo in the 40+ as he finished second and winning a silver medal individually and also leading his team to win a team prize Gold medal. Nomasonto Skhosana also finished 2nd in the same category 40+. Keneilwe Sesing was another Nedbank runner in the top 10 finishing 8th in the Senior women 8km. Most of our runner did well as they finished in the podium with in their respective team.
