Nedbank Running Club athletes produced another impressive set of performances at the ASA Championships held in Gqeberha on Saturday, 27 June 2026. Competing at the Nelson Mandela Bay Half Marathon, which incorporated the ASA Half Marathon Championships, as well as the ASA 5km and 1 Mile Championships, Green Team athletes once again featured prominently throughout the championships.
International Nedbank athletes Lavinia Haitope of Namibia claimed victory in the women's race in an outstanding 1:12:36, while teammate Bize Beyira Negasa of Ethiopia secured third place overall in 1:13:42. Daniel Paulus of Namibia also recorded a strong performance, finishing seventh overall in the men's race.
