Pumlani Sigidi named NRC Cape Town July Member of the Month

24 year old Pumlani Sigidi was awarded the July Member of the Month title after showing some good form in recent races. Pumlani won the New Balance Table Mountain 16km in June in a time of 1:02:06 and was second at the Worcester Voorsieners 21.1km on 23 July in a time of 1:08:43. Continuing with his good form, Pumlani ran his fastest time over the 5km time trial this month in a time of 15:41.

As well as producing good results in local races, Pumlani is a committed member of the club and travels a long way from Hout Bay to Bellville to attend time trials and other club functions. It was a joy to present Pumlani with a tracksuit, tog bag and Member of the Month trophy in recognition of his achievements and commitment to the club! Congratulations Pumlani!
