Antonette running for Hospice - Day 14
March 14, 2014
Second last day and a proper uphill to start!
Second last day!

Why not start the second last day with a proper unhill - Tradouws Pass - Done and dusted.  The Second and his Second was back on the road again today, which meant the second Second could ride his bike up the hill ;)
Susanna Jordaan, my one running buddy joined me from the start today.  Was so good to catch up on all the news and spend time on the road with her.  At the 15km mark Ilse Esterhuyse? also joined us and we made good pace up to 30km odd, where the lifts arrived and I continued onwards.  I had a bit of a wobble the next 10km with a muscle on my lower shin that decided to play up.  But head down, deep breath, some hard talking to myself and when we came to the 5km mark I was ready for the next group to join me for the last stretch. They were just the lift I needed to get me over the last hill.  And when I saw the green shirts of the Hospice ladies along the road, that got me going even more.  You guys are awsome.
The Montagu Primary School waited for me with cheers and banners from Hospice - my Mum's sister waiting for me at the end made it a perfect day.  Thank you all for you support during the last 2 weeks.  Tomorrow is the final push from Montagu to Robertson.  I have no idea what I will do on Sunday ... maybe go for a run!?! ;)
