We are incredibly proud of all our athletes who took on this iconic challenge and represented our club with distinction. Every runner who stood on the starting demonstrated the spirit of perseverance that defines the Comrades Marathon. Your dedication through months of training, early mornings, long runs, and unwavering commitment has inspired our entire club. This year, we proudly celebrate four remarkable athletes who have earned one of the most prestigious honours in South African road running – the coveted Comrades Green Number.
A Green Number is more than a race number; it is a symbol of perseverance, resilience, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to the Ultimate Human Race. It represents at least ten Comrades Marathon finishes and a decade or more of dedication to the sport we love.
We salute our Green Number achievers:
17747 Henrique Mbendane
51333 Fanie Bekker
12861 Schizelle Theron
20284 Adele Smit
Your Green Numbers tell a story of countless kilometres, early morning training runs, challenges overcome, friendships forged, and dreams achieved. You continue to inspire current and future generations of runners by proving that consistency, determination, and passion can leave a lasting legacy.
