TWO OCEANS MARATHON - 11 AND 12 APRIL 2026

The Nedbank Running Club SWD will send a team of more than 120 runners to the Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town, competing in the 56km ultra marathon on Saturday, 11 April, and the 21.1km half marathon on Sunday, 12 April.

Among the standout contenders in the ultra distance is Lloyd Bosman, who finished as runner-up in the 2024 race and will be looking to go one better this year. He will be joined by his teammate Selwyn Matthews, who is set to make his debut over the ultra distance.

In the women’s race, Carla Spangenberg is expected to deliver a strong performance, while Nerida Lubbe will be a key contender in the 50–59 category.

Over the 21.1km distance, Bruce Maboza and Wayne April will be aiming for a top-10 finish. Meanwhile, Annatjie Botes is expected to once again put in a strong performance in the 60–69 category.

We wish all the Nedbank runners the very best of luck for the weekend.
