Time Trials (Real and Virtual)

Real weekly time trials start every Tuesday at 17:30 from the Clubhouse. During winter times the time trials will start at 17:15 and members will be notified when the change in times will happen.

April ’22 will be the last month where members can do virtual time trials. From the 1st of May ’22 the club will revert back to real time trials only. April ’22 will therefore be the last month where participants of the real and virtual time trials will be eligible to compete for the monthly gift voucher.

Decision was taken at our last management meeting to make a few changes to our time trials to make it more attractive for all our members. The following rules were set out for winning the monthly price:

  • Competition is open to only Nedbank club members
  • Available distances you can choose from is  2,4,6 or 8 kilometers
  • Athletes have to compete in at least three (3) time trials during the specific month to be eligible for the price
  • The winner of the price will be determined by a lucky draw if there are more than one athlete who have completed the three (3) time trials
  • The winner will be decided on the last time trial for the month and therefore have to be present when the draw takes place. The monthly winner will be rewarded with a gift voucher. Photo of the winner with his/her price will be taken and published in the next edition of the monthly Nedbank Vanderbijlpark newsletter
  • It will be great if members wear Nedbank clothing on the last time trial for the month as we want to take the photo of the winner wearing  Nedbank clothing

Time Trial winners

The following members were winners for January, February and March ’22:

  • January ’22 – Joseph Dzhuvha
