CLUB NEWS

We are entering the last stretch of the year and excited to see 2022 will be a great year.  We had to overcome many challenges this year but this made us all stronger and ensured we looked at everything differently.  Well done to those who participated in the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon and kept the Nedbank Running Club flying high.  It was amazing to see the field painted green again.

TIME TRIALS

Our newly formed Satellite Club in Amandasig is doing well and please support us with joining in the area if you stay close by.  We hosted a 10km Club run on Saturday and it was a great day for all.  Thank you Lefitso and Thumelo for all your assistance in managing this for us.

Thursday Time Trials are also picking up and thanks for joining us plus those who religiously run on STRAVA as you can’t make it to the Club.  We notice you and are proud that you are still joining us although it is virtually.

SATURDAY 10KM CLUB RUN in AMANDASIG 6 NOVEMBER 2021

Thank you for those who joined us and made this a successful run on the day.

YEAR END FUNCTION

We will this year host our Year End Function and Awards at CBC Old Boys Club Saturday 4 December at 14H30 with a Bring and Braai, bring our own meat and we will supply the salad and breads.  You will receive drinks but due to the difficult year we have had, bring cash to purchase drinks at the bar.  You are not allowed to bring any drinks onto the premises please.  Look out for the communication that will be sent out.

Our Annual General Meeting is planned for 20 January 2022, please save the date and remember to support the meeting to choose a new committee.

2022 MEMBERSHIP FEES

The committee decided that we will not increase the Membership fees for 2022 and it will stay the same as 2021 but if you pay your 2022 Membership fees before the end of December, you will receive a discount.   2021 Licenses are still available at R250 if you still have not renewed your Membership for 2021.  Remember we rely on your support in keeping our Club running smooth by renewing Membership Fees every year.

Been there, run that
