Latest Nedbank Brand Ambassador set to Make Things Happen
Nedbank has built a reputation as a leading sport sponsor over a number of years and the bank's extensive investment in sports has made it synonymous with a number of sporting properties.
As a bank that cares and makes a positive contribution to the communities in which it operates, the exposure gained through these sponsorships also contributes to the goodwill and awareness in the minds of the general public. In short the sponsorships demonstrate how Nedbank makes things happen.
Nedbank announced the introduction of brand ambassadors in 2007 and ambassadors are identified as individuals who possess and demonstrate the highest integrity and credibility and are regarded as South African role models in their respective activities and communities as well as by the general public at large. The bank's initial ambassadors were; world renowned Paralympian; Oscar Pistorius, ladies golfer; Ashleigh Simon and legendary athlete Hendrick Ramaala.
After serving the brand with distinction it was decided to replace the Ashleigh, Oscar and Hendrick with a new crop of ambassadors who were unveiled at 135 Rivonia Road earlier today.
Following an exemplary term as an ambassador, Hendrick Ramaala's very fleet-footed shoes have been filled by an incredibly able replacement and fellow list leading athlete, René Kalmer.
René's currently competes under the Nedbank Running Club banner and her career highlights include;
