Entry Reminder!!!
There will be 2000 spots up for grabs on 30 January 2010, and will only be available through the Mr Price stores. Please note that this is the ONLY Avenue that will be available if you missed out on the previous entry deadlines. Entries will be done on a first come first serve basis, and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries open at 09H00.

Management at Mr Price have agreed to assist the CMA for this purpose as they are one of the countries largest, and most successful retail organisations, with +- 1000 stores nationwide, which therefore allows for easy accessibility for all that still wish to enter the 2010 race. Mr Price is also a Comrades sponsor.

What to do on the 30 January 2010 at Mr Price:
Make your way to a Mr Price store. Should there still be spots available, you will be able to hand in and pay for your entry at this point.

The entry system is "live" and therefore once 2000 entries have been received, the system will automatically shut down, and entries will then be closed. In no way will the system be able to be overridden, by a store Manager, or staff member, or any individual within the Mr Price Group, as the CMA has full control over the system.

We would like to request that anyone that misses out on entering Comrades 2010, refrain from abusing, shouting or insulting staff at the Mr Price stores, as they cannot change the fact that entries close.

The CMA would like to thank Mr Price for their assistance in advance, which is greatly appreciated.

Good Day Fellow Nedbank Runners
The Nedbank Johannesburg will be hosting its first AGM on Wednesday 10th February 2010.

As this is our first ever annual general meeting we would like to hear from you our fellow club members.

No matter how long you have been a member, we welcome you to join us on the evening.

This is the ideal opportunity for you as club members to voice your suggestions, raise your concerns or even make recommendations on how we can improve the club in 2010.

The meeting will be taking place at the George Lee Park in Parkmore, Sandton and will commence at 7pm.

Should you feel up to it we will be running our weekly 5km time trial at 17:30 and there are showers facilities at the venue.

Food and drinks will be served.

Two Oceans Reminder
Just a friendly reminder that entries are filling up at a rapid rate for the 21km - we are already on 7800 and will only take 11,000.

They think that they will hit the 11,000 mark around 10 February, so I would encourage you to get your entries in ASAP as no exceptions will be made to allow additional entries

56km entries (at this stage) will be accepted up until the closing date of 3 March.
