This means that South African runners only have tomorrow (Friday, 30 September 2016) to take advantage of the 2017 Comrades Early Bird entry fee of R420.

 

The regular price of R460 will come into effect as of Saturday, 1 October 2016 until the entry process closes on 30 November 2016 or as soon as the 20,000 entry cap has been reached. So far, the entry tally stands at nearly 9000. For an updated entry count, please visit www.comrades.com

 

The United Kingdom continues to hold the lion’s share of international entrants at 167 runners. The 2015 Comrades Marathon attracted a record 337 UK runners for the celebratory 90th edition.

 

Athletes from more than 70 countries have already made their entry into the Guinness World Record endorsed event.

• Rest of Africa           : R 770.00
• International           : R2650.00
