Nedbank Running Club appoints Stephen Meijers as CEO of the Johannesburg Club.

Meijers has been a loyal member of the Nedbank Running Club since the Nedbank clubs were established in 2008. His strong leadership characteristics and business skills will assist to steer the 2015 Nedbank Running Club committee, who will be elected tonight at the AGM, in the right direction.

Although Meijers was appointed as a result of his organisational structuring and management and developmental business backgrounds, he is also a seasonal runner with top 10 positions in the Washie 160km road race in the Eastern Cape and several Comrades marathons under his belt.

“After seven years at the Nedbank Running Club, it is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Fordyce. We at the Nedbank Running Club wish him all the best for the future and thank him for the significant contribution he has made to the success of our club,” says Nick Bester, National Manager of the Nedbank Running Club.
