To ensure a hassle-free entry experience, please ensure that you log in to update your personal & medical profile or – if you’re a first-time participant – that you create your profile before entries open.
You may use your email address or Facebook login to create your profile.
Please ensure that you have updated ALL your details. When entering, the payment option will only become available when all sections of your profile have been updated.
One ID number = 1 entry. You can’t enter two races that take place on the same day (e.g. the Ultra and Half Marathon), but you can enter races that take place on the Friday and Saturday respectively.

To Qualify For The Ultra Marathon

You must have a proven marathon or ultra-marathon qualifying time.  All standard marathons and races longer than 42,2km will count as qualifying races, provided that they are held under the auspices of the IAAF (or ASA in South Africa).
You must finish a standard 42,2km marathon in under 5 hours.
RSA runners must belong to a running club in South Africa.
You must be at least 20 years old on Race Day.
Ultra Marathon Entry Fees

SA licenced :  R230
SA unlicenced :  Not applicable as SA runners must be licenced
Africa entries:  R500 (incl. Temp licence of R40)
International entries:  R1 000 (incl. Temp licence of R40)

To Enter The Popular Half Marathon

Due to the high demand for Half Marathon entries, we urge you to update your details or create your profile before your actual entry date.
Entries on the respective entry days will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
Half Marathon Entry Fees

SA Licenced:  R120  
SA Unlicenced:  R120 plus Temp licence of R35
Africa entries:  R350
International entries: R550

To Enter The Trail Run

Online entries sold out in less than 15 minutes last year, so please ensure that your details are up to date before 4 December.  Entries will be on a first-come-first-served basis.
